We have high hopes for how children experience their day at Jellybeans Childcare. As experienced practitioners and parents, we find 3 aspects help the children have their 'best day' here, every day.
Daily outdoor play.
We are lucky enough to have a large private garden dedicated to climbing equipment, large painting projects, water play and ride on vehicles. We have a large, heated, gazebo to ensure all-year round outside fun. When it's hot we get in our large (3x4m) swimming pool!
A variety of activities and trips.
No-one likes to be stuck within the same four walls every day, playing with the same toys. We love to explore our local area and get out and about with the children. Very often we go to the Isle of Dogs Children’s Centre, St Luke's Millwall playgroup and Tiller Leisure soft play, Millwall Park, Riverside park and Mudchute Farm. Our family have an allotment at Mudchute - the children love to water our plants at plot 62 - those plants then go into our seasonal menu! There are also various play, art and music groups in the surrounding areas of Canary Wharf that benefit the children’s learning and development.
Every child feeling loved and cherished.
At Jellybeans we pride ourselves on our gentle, non-shaming, approach to children's behaviour management, our slingwearing, and enabling of child choice. We are the only local childcare setting to openly and actively practice gentle or attached parenting.
Jellybeans welcomes parents who are extended breastfeeding, cloth nappying and Attachment Parenting
